''Acraea peneleos'', the Peneleos Acraea, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Congo, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia and Ethiopia.〔(Afrotropical Butterflies: Nymphalidae - Tribe Acraeini )〕 The habitat consists of forests. Adult males mud puddle and both sexes are attracted to flowers, especially those of ''Eupatorium'' species.
